8-year old solves PA’s Budget Crisis

My daughter Amber (grade 3) has the occasional "privilege" of sitting in the pastor's office while dad is attending a meeting in the next room. During a recent meeting, she situated herself behind the desk and declared herself "the mayor of Pennsylvania". She immediately appointed two barbie dolls as her senior staff and signed one piece of legislation into law. The content of that law is as follows:

(Law - The new law is that kids have school from 8:30am to 9:00am. Also, 30 minutes are a break and a break is required every day or you're fired.)
Eat your heart out, Tom Corbett. The new mayor of Pennslyvania just solved the budget crisis in less than an hour after taking office. Didn't raise a single tax, either. I guess it is possible!

"Truth is Stranger..." - Gas Station Graffiti

I typically don't take photographs in a gas station bathroom (I basically try to keep my name unconnected with the words "conduct unbecoming a member of the clergy"). However, this past weekend was the exception.
The bathroom was as unremarkable and unpleasant as one would expect at a gas station. The walls were covered with your typical bigotry-driven graffiti: anti-semitic, anti-black, anti-gay, anti-immigrant, etc. etc.
I found this one in the middle of it all and snapped a picture with the phone. I'm convinced that it was written by someone who shares my satirical sense of humor. Either that, or someone has run out of people to hate.
